PHWFA IS GROWING
FLAG FOOTBALL NOW OPEN TO 6, 7 & 8 YEAR OLDS
WITH NO RESTRICTIONS
Our Flag Football Division is an in-house league. It is open to all 6, 7 and 8 year old boys/girls with no restrictions. All teams play 6 regular season games and 2 playoff games. Practices are held at St. Alphonsus' field. Games will be held on Sundays at Wheeling H.S.
The Prospect Heights Falcons is proud to announce that we have joined the
Tri-County Youth Football League
Our program is open to boys and girls from 1st through 8th grade. We are proud to offer Flag and Tackle Football and Cheerleading Programs to you and your children. We are a non-profit organization run by dedicated parent volunteers whose goals are the same as your own - to help your child soar as a young athlete by teaching good sportsmanship, teamwork and cooperation in a fun and friendly Falcon family environment.
Tackle Level
Our Tackle program is a travel league. The Tri-County Youth Football League consists of teams from Antioch, Barrington, Cary, Crystal Lake, Grayslake, Huntley, Lake in the Hills, Lake Zurich, Libertyville, Oak Park, Plainfield, Tri Cities, Warren, Wauconda, Bartlett, Buffalo Grove, and Prairie Ridge. We offer age and weight divisions for the safety of our players. Smaller team sizes are emphasized to increase playing time for each player in our developmental and competitive divisions.
Volunteers Needed
As we strive for quality and organization, we encourage you to become an active volunteer above and beyond the 4 hour volunteer commitment required by the league. There are many committees available to share your time and talents. Please contact Chuck Reno at chasreno@comcast.net if interested in volunteering for any of these areas:
Field set up & take down on Saturday and Sunday home games
Scoreboard operator on Saturday and Sunday home games
Chain gangs on Saturday and Sunday home games
Concessions on Saturday and Sunday home games

| Friday, July 4 | PROSPECT HEIGHTS 4TH OF JULY PARADE Step off at 9 am. If you would like to particpate, meet at the old Dominick's parking lot by the PHFA concession trailer at 8:30 am. Wear Falcons apparel. The parade route goes east on Willow/Thomas from Prospect Crossing Shopping Center ending at St Alphonsus Church parking lot. |
